San Diego Marketers: Monthly Speed Networking Meetup

Coming up on Monday, May 13 is the monthly Speed Networking Meetup in the Lord Jim Room at the Best Western Seven Seas in San Diego. Meet and network with up to fifty other local business people in the area in less than two hours. You can discuss business and get to know your fellow entrepreneurs and what they do. It is essentially speed dating for businesses. You are ensured to meet with several other local businesses to see how you can help each other. The event only requires a business card, a $5 entry fee, and RSVP.

The format of the Speed Meetup consists of four-minute meetings with other businesses on a one to one level. After four minutes, the business representatives switch and move on. This way, you are guaranteed to meet with at least twelve other local businesses, depending on attendance by the end of the event. If you come with enough business cards to pass out and a short presentation to show, you can make this meet up extremely effective and beneficial to your own business.

Come early for happy hour at Zack’s Bar next to the Lord Jim Room in the Best Western. Happy Hour runs from 4- 7 with discounted drinks. Meet a few of the local business representatives before the meetup even starts. Get dinner before the event at the Cafe near the Lord Jim room too. Do not miss this great opportunity to meet some of the other local businesses in the area to see how you can help each other.
